Review

I inhaled this! Straight after finishing Crown Me Dead, I dove right into Crown Me Yours. Both books are under 300 pages, so even if they're not your thing, you won't feel like you've wasted much time on them.

I love Elara and Vale! They have such a compelling dynamic and their banter is great. I loved their interactions throughout both books, and Yours picks up right after Dead perfectly!

I didn't rate this one quite as highly, for one key reason! Vale wasn't as enticing a character this time round. As his relationship with Elara evolves, he loses a bit of his edge, which was honestly one of the reasons I liked him so much in the first place! The shift made sense, but it was one I couldn't ignore. He basically went from being an edge-lord to a golden retriever overnight.

The duology wrapped up in a really satisfying way, although I didn't cry like everyone warned me I would! I did get a little teary eyed towards the end, but no actual tears were shed 🤪 Heads up though, the dark, violent themes from book one carry through here too so don't go in expecting things to soften up, because it doesn't!

Overall, I HIGHLY recommend both books if you're into dark romantasy with a genuinely interesting story!
