Fake Night by Eyal Rosen
Hmmmmm, ok…
This is one of those stories that is tense, full of twist’s & just when I thought I knew what was happening, the story slaps me right in the brain! Defo one that made me go, “Wait, what just happened?” And not necessarily in a good way!
The main character is quite erratic, complicated & morally gray. Their choices & relationships are intense not to mention questionable which kept me well & truly on my toes…as well as mind f****d!
The premise itself is dark & clever but the execution is a little all over the place. I felt a bit uncomfortable reading parts of the story & had to fight my way through parts of it.
All in all, it was an ok read. I’m happy it wasn’t any longer than it was. I’m not quite sure who I would recommend this book too, but if you are simply interested in a chaotic thriller then this may be for you.
