Butcher & Blackbird (The Ruinous Love Trilogy #1) by Brynne Weaver

Hmm, so even though I got through this pretty quickly (for me anyway) this wasn’t really an amazing read.

The story was enjoyable enough that I finished it but it felt a little all over the place & simply not on par with other books I’ve read recently.

Will I read the second book?? Probably not. The main characters are likeable but I just wasn’t routing for them 😬 Everything was pretty predictable & nothing surprised me.

If you’re after an easy read that is mildly entertaining, then this is for you! Maybe good for when you want something easy to digest 👍
